We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable care teacher who wants to help educate the future workforce within care and social services. We are looking for you who are passionate about learning and want to contribute to giving students the knowledge, skills, and values required to succeed in professional life and make a difference for other people.
Responsibilities
As a care teacher, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching within upper secondary care and social services education. You work closely with the students and contribute to a safe, inspiring, and professional learning environment where every individual is given the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential.
The position includes, among other things:
- Teaching within care and social services education
- Planning and conducting teaching
- Evaluating and grading students
- Documenting and following up on students' knowledge development
- Collaborating with internship sites and supervisors
- Contributing to the education's quality and development work
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Are a licensed vocational teacher in care and social services or have other relevant education and experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Have experience from care and social services operations
- Have good pedagogical skills and a genuine interest in learning
- Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
- Are responsible, structured, and relationship-building
- Enjoy motivating and supporting people in their development
Merits
- Experience of teaching in adult education
- Experience of coordinating APL (Work Integrated Learning)
- Experience from elderly care, home help services, LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), or healthcare
- Multilingualism
About the position
Employment type: Full-time or part-time according to agreement
Location: Stockholm
